Self-Awareness
You cannot lead a room you can't read — starting with yourself.
Self-awareness is knowing your tendencies before pressure exposes them. What makes you go quiet. What makes you snap. What you do when you're tired and the game is close.
Practice it
- Name your default reaction under pressure — out loud, to someone who will confirm it.
- Ask two teammates what you're like on your worst day. Don't defend the answer.
- Write one sentence after each performance: what was me, what was the situation.
